Short Doco - Heat, Health and Housing in the NT

Produced and pitched a feature video on how extreme heat affects health and housing in remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory for my major journalism. project. Presented the pitch to a panel of journalists from SBS, ABC, The Saturday Paper and The Sydney Morning Herald. Reported from Tennant Creek, interviewing Warumungu Elder Norman Frank Jupurrula and members of Wilya Janta on climate-resilient housing solutions.

Short Doco - About Grief

While in the Northern Territory, I met Annette (“Nettie”), a remote area nurse in Ali Curung who serves a close-knit Aboriginal community of about 200 people. After the loss of her son Cassidy, she found healing and purpose through nursing. Her story inspired me to produce, shoot, and edit a documentary exploring how grief and health intersect in remote Aboriginal communities.

Audio & Video Showreel

This showreel brings together stories I worked on during my journalism studies in 2024, including pieces I produced while interning at SBS Dateline. From covering a crime scene in my hometown to speaking with Aboriginal leaders in the Northern Territory and filming protests outside embassies, these stories reflect the kind of journalism I care about — raw, honest, and focused on issues that affect Australian society.
